What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading by Example: As the face of our taproom, you’ll guide our team to deliver exceptional service with every interaction. From regulars to first-timers, your leadership will ensure everyone feels welcome and appreciated.
Team Leadership: You’ll manage, train, and mentor a passionate group of taproom staff, helping them grow in their roles while fostering a positive and energetic environment.
Planning & Organization: From inventory management to staffing schedules, you’ll be the mastermind behind the taproom’s smooth day-to-day operations. Your keen organizational skills will keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
Event Management: You’ll take the lead on coordinating special events, private functions, and tours – turning every event into a memorable experience for guests.
Customer Experience: Above all, you’ll maintain a focus on the guest experience. You’ll ensure the taproom is clean, organized, and safe, creating an inviting atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Leadership: You have 3-5 years of management experience in a fast-paced service environment. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a brewery or taproom setting.
Positive Attitude & Problem-Solving Skills: You’re cool under pressure and skilled at resolving conflicts with a calm, empathetic approach.
Organizational Mastery: Multitasking is your superpower, whether it’s managing a busy taproom or making sure every event goes off without a hitch.
Certifications: You have, or are willing to obtain, your ProServe and ProTect certifications.
Flexibility: You’re ready to jump in and help out whenever needed – whether it’s managing a busy shift, organizing the keg room, or prepping for an event.
What We Offer:
Competitive Compensation: Earn between $65,000 and $85,000 annually.

TAPROOM SERVERS
Cabin Brewing Company is an award-winning craft brewery located in Calgary's Manchester neighbourhood. We make fun, innovative beer with an obsessive focus on quality - and our taproom is where that beer meets the people who love it.
We're growing our team of beertenders ahead of the busy summer season. If you love craft beer, enjoy sharing that passion with others, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
Represent the Cabin brand with warmth, energy, and genuine enthusiasm for beer
Ensure every guest leaves with a great experience
Stay knowledgeable about our beers, story, and vision - and share that knowledge naturally
Pour and serve beer and other beverages to a high standard
Handle sales transactions using our POS system
Assist with basic food preparation and service
Keep all taproom areas - bar, tables, bathrooms, kitchen, and patio - spotlessly clean
What we're looking for:
Prior experience serving or bartending in a licensed establishment
ProServe certification (or a willingness to obtain it before your first shift)
Ability to work independently and efficiently during busy service
A genuine interest in craft beer
Working conditions:
Evening and weekend shift work is required
Availability to work three or more shifts per week
Must be able to move 50L kegs (up to 60 kg)
Work takes place in a busy taproom environment, adjacent to an operating brewery (noise, equipment, and brewing odours are part of the job)
What we offer:
Starting wage of $15/hr, with a share of a consistently strong tip pool, and wage increases as responsibility grows
