NOCTURNE

DUNKELWEIZEN

Listen to cicadas. Watch the sun set. Breath more slowly. Read a good novel. Gaze at the stars. Let gentle music wrap around you. Embrace your lover. As the world around you slowly goes to sleep, reflect on a day well done and raise a toast to yourself.
.
Nocturne Dunkelweizen – the darker sister of our Rise & Shine Hefeweizen – is like liquid banana bread. Experimental hop HBC-472 and its gentle oak notes complement the banana aromas from the German yeast strain and the light chocolate notes from the malt. This dark wheat beer is full-bodied and fluffy from the ample additions of wheat. It’s a glorious shade of light mahogany, like the early evening light. Close your eyes and enjoy our Nocturne. This day is yours.

CITY OF DREAMS

VIENNA LAGER

Welcome to the City of Dreams, where anything is possible. Our latest foray in the world of lagers takes us to Vienna, where the air is filled with pure music and Freud’s work on dream analysis changed the path of psychoanalysis forever.

City of Dreams has a light copper colour and stacked with toasty malt notes, like a freshly popped slice of perfectly cooked toast. There are some subtle caramel flavours and a pleasant spiced hop nose from the noble Styrian Golding hops. It’s crisp and perfectly balanced with some lingering malt sweetness.

Drinking City of Dreams is like unearthing a repressed beer desire you never knew was there. Close your eyes and let all your liquid dreams come to life.

HERE & NOW

BROWN ALE

This outrageously unique beer started life as a brown ale; nutty, chocolatey and rich. It’s almost exclusively made with Alberta malt from Origin Malting and Red Shed Malting. We dry-hopped it with an experimental hop called HBC 472 - which sounds like a sci-fi bad guy and is about as weird. You’ll notice aromas of oak, coconut, bourbon, pineapple, vanilla, peach and a skiff of cinnamon. Yep, all from one hop. It’s unusual alright. In an awesomely mind-blowing way.
